Sandsea Conquest
A battle between three alliances, every 4 weeks. On Saturday, your alliance’s Legion fights two others for one hour on the Sandsea map — capture Strongholds to earn points every minute, and take the Drilling Platform in the final phase.
The week
- •Registration: the Alliance Leader and R4+ register up to 2 Legions. After the deadline the list is locked, and anyone who joins the alliance later can’t take part or get participation rewards.
- •Join or skip: members can join any Legion and switch freely before the sign-up deadline, or ask not to fight in any Legion.
- •Who can’t be picked: members offline for 5 days can’t be Combatants or Reserves. A Legion needs at least 15 Combatants and Reserves to be matched.
- •Matchmaking: Legions are matched by War Power Rating (based on their top 20 Wardens’ War Power) and win rate, against Legions that picked the same time slot. War Power includes Satellite, Collection, Tome, Hero Equipment, Military Technology and peak Prisoner Power Armor power.
The hour, phase by phase
- •Ready for Battle — 3 minutes.
- 1Stronghold Contest — 17 minutes on the ordinary Strongholds.
- 2Lighthouse Contest — 20 minutes; the Lighthouses unlock.
- 3Drilling Platform Contest — 20 minutes; the Drilling Platform unlocks.
To enter after the battlefield opens, you must have no troops out scouting or marching, and your Gate must not be on fire. If you leave partway through, you must wait 10 minutes to come back.
The Strongholds
Every Stronghold you control earns Legion Points each minute. A Lighthouse held from the start of Phase 2 is worth 60,000; the Drilling Platform held for all of Phase 3 is worth up to 80,000 with its end-of-battle bonus.

Three sectors — A (blue), B (red) and C (gold) — each with 31 Strongholds, around the S100 Drilling Platform. In each sector, the Helipad is x1 and the Lighthouse is x24. The flagged Vessel Stations are x18, x19, x27, x28, x30 and x31: x30 and x31 have Sandrunners that go straight to S100, while x18, x19, x27 and x28 connect to the neighboring sectors.
How the fighting works
- •All bonuses count on the battlefield except Marching Speed and Marching Capacity.
- •Fuel is used for marching, recruiting, raids, retreats and instant respawns, and it refills over time. A Stronghold Marshal gets Fuel faster — R4+ members and the Tactician can choose Marshals, and a Warden stationed in a Stronghold can choose themselves.
- •One-on-one, in line order. Troops at a Stronghold being fought over fight one at a time, in the order they arrived — 5 seconds per fight at the Drilling Platform, 10 seconds elsewhere. The winner goes to the back of the line; whoever beats the last defender takes the Stronghold.
- •Raid or retreat to leave a Stronghold — you can only do this once your side has at least 5 troops waiting. Troops waiting in a fight line can’t march anywhere else.
- •Respawn: defeated troops return to their Helipad when the countdown ends, or spend Fuel to respawn instantly. When both sides have 5 or more troops waiting, you can spend Diamonds on a Battle Speed-up.
The Tactician
- •One per Legion, chosen from the Combatants by R4+ members (can be changed until combat ends, with a cooldown during the battle).
- •Gives orders instead of fighting — their troops have no heroes, wait at the back of the line, and can only be attacked after everyone else is defeated.
- •Has traits and tactics, and guides Squads by placing War Banners at War Banner Points.
- •Can’t be a Marshal and can’t raid or retreat. To swap Tacticians, both players’ troops must be on Standby, and both get sent home.
Squads
- •Up to 6 Squads of 7 per Legion — room for every Combatant and Reserve. The Tactician isn’t in a Squad.
- •Everyone is assigned to a Squad automatically after matchmaking.
- •The Tactician can rearrange Squads from matchmaking until combat ends.
Fuel and the Tactician’s tools
Fuel: up to 600,000, starting at 200,000 and refilling 48,000 at a time. The Tactician has a smaller tank (200,000 max, 70,000 at the start, 16,000 per refill). Marshals refill much faster.
The Tactician has up to 10 Tactical Points and gets 1 more every 60 seconds.
| Tactic | Points | Cooldown | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assault Breach | 3 | 30 s | An enemy Stronghold burns for 90 s: its defenders lose 5% of their max troops every 5 s. |
| Battlefield Aid | 3 | 30 s | An allied Stronghold gets +4% of its max troops every 5 s for 90 s. |
| Flexible Maneuver | 4 | 5 min | One Warden can raid or retreat freely for 120 s, up to 6 times. |
| Swift Enlist | 3 | 5 min | 3 Mercenary squads defend for 180 s. |
| Strategic Deployment | 5 | 10 min | A squad teleport point for 150 s, 5 teleports per member. |
Buffs and the three factions
- •War Banner: squad members fighting at or next to their banner get +10% Lethality and +10% HP.
- •Defeat the enemy Tactician and your whole Legion gets +10% ATK and +10% DEF for 300 s.
- •Factions: Imperium, Bloodforged and Honorbound. At your own home Strongholds, enemies pay 20,000 Fuel per fight and +100% march Fuel and +300% recruit Fuel; your faction gets +20% ATK, +10% DEF and +50% march speed when setting out from them.
- •Battle times: 02:00, 12:00, 14:00, 19:00 and 21:00 server time. Defeated troops respawn at the Helipad after 60 s.

What wins
The side with the most Legion Points when the hour ends wins. Rewards depend on both the result and how well you did. Points come from holding Strongholds, so get every Combatant onto the battlefield with all 3 troops, keep Marshals on held Strongholds for the Fuel, take your Lighthouse as Phase 2 opens, and save troops and Fuel for the Drilling Platform in the last 20 minutes.
